An introvert by nature, artistic expression has always been a life-giving means of connecting the depths of me. It seems I see the potential of a painting in everything…a time then comes when an image remains on my mind and rests in my heart until emotions rise to claim it. My paintings come from times of that synchronicity.

As Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of Vermont, my days are filled with "outer" connections - meetings, appointments, paper, phone calls, emails - I cherish each of these connections - especially, the and the relationships they represent - even on the days they are a challenge!
